Behind The Scenes
Over the past 2 decades, Pay-Per-Klip Salon & Spa (PPK) has established a loyal clientele. However, coming out of 2020, their owner believed they could be making better use of social media to reach new clients and stylists.

With several of their stylists providing content, they needed a social media guide that would keep everyone—regardless of their internet proficiency—on the same page about what, when, and how they should be posting. I took care to address their specific goals, including advice on what kinds of campaigns and interaction would allow them to identify and connect with local talent.

Content between hair salons tends to look quite similar, so it was important for PPK to develop a brand identity to make their work instantly recognizable in their customers’ feeds. I set them up with a brand kit including drag-and-drop templates to keep the colors, graphics, and logos consistent between stylists.

A few months after implementing my strategies online, they decided to bring their new branding into the salon and had me expand my set of templates to include the signs, coupons, and event posters they still use today.
